We handle every detail so you can focus on the thrill, the scenery and the stories you’ll bring home.
Our chef
Sage Hartland grew up surrounded by the mountains of British Columbia. She has always been in the kitchen, raised in a family just as passionate about food as she is, so it was a natural fit for her to go to culinary school. She completed her Red Seal and, since then, has worked at restaurants and lodges around BC and Alberta. Sage has a passion for working with local produce and high-quality, sustainable meats and seafood, simply letting the ingredients speak for themselves. In the off season, she enjoys fishing, hiking, and travelling the world to find new and amazing foods to try.
Off-the-hook activities
There’s plenty to do when the fishing is over for the day. Set out on a scenic hike, seek relaxation in the lodge or indulge in the sauna or hot tub—whatever floats your boat. Furthermore, we offer guided whale-watching expeditions, wildlife tours and Zodiac excursions to nearby points of interest like Manzanita Cove.
Our gift shop
We stock specialty items from Arc’teryx, Patagonia and Hooke. You’ll also find plenty of hats, T-shirts, hoodies and warm socks. If you’re bringing gifts home, we have eagle and whale stuffies as well as children’s shirts and hoodies.
