A day at Eagle Pointe Lodge follows a natural rhythm shaped by the water and those experiencing it. With a maximum of twelve guests per trip, the lodge quickly feels less like a destination and more like home for the duration of the stay.

Morning at the Lodge
Mornings begin with fresh coffee, tea, and juices, followed by a plated breakfast prepared to order. Each day features a couple of chef’s specials, while guests are always free to choose exactly what they want.
After breakfast, guests gather freshly made-to-order sandwiches, with parfaits, vegetables and salads available from the cooler, as well as fresh-baked treats, chips, and assorted bars from the snack table to round out lunch. Guests stock their coolers with whatever they prefer, including cocktails, wine, beer, coolers, and non-alcoholic options.
Rain gear and fishing licences are collected from the dry room before heading to the dock, where guides and boats are ready.

Time on the Water
Two guests per boat depart together, typically between 6:30 and 8:00 a.m., depending on the group’s preference. Fishing locations vary daily, sometimes close to the lodge, sometimes farther along the coast, with the journey itself offering remarkable scenery.
Boats are heated, covered, and equipped with onboard washrooms for comfort throughout the day. From the moment a fish is landed, it is placed directly into ice-filled fish wells onboard, ensuring the highest quality from catch to processing.
Lunch, drinks, and snacks are enjoyed onboard. Wildlife sightings are common while fishing, including whales moving through the area, bears along the shoreline, and, on rare occasions, deer or wolves swimming between islands. With minimal boat traffic, guests often fish in quiet water, sharing the day with only their guide and fishing partner.

The Return to the Dock
As the day comes to a close, boats return to the dock at a relaxed pace. Guides gather the day’s catch for weighing and photos, then confirm how each fish should be processed, whether sent to the cannery, portioned for home, or a combination of both. Fish are vacuum packed and flash frozen promptly.
Guests often enjoy a drink on the dock while the process unfolds. On select days, fresh prawns or light bites may be served. The team takes care of every detail.

Evenings at the Lodge
Canapés are served between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. overlooking the water, followed by dinner around 7:00 p.m., always with wine. Weather permitting, guests enjoy dinner in the gazebo that extends out over the ocean during their stay, with a fire lit and views stretching across the water.
The gazebo often becomes the evening gathering place. Some nights are lively with music, games, and conversation. Others are quieter. Eagles and seals are a constant presence nearby, and on rare occasions, a whale may pass through.
For guests who wish, a beach fire at Pirate’s Cove can be arranged, complete with s’mores and use of the lodge guitar for a sing-along and time spent together by the shore.

A Shared Experience
What defines a day at Eagle Pointe Lodge is its simplicity and ease. With only up to twelve guests on site, days are shaped around the group, preferences are remembered, and the lodge feels like a shared home rather than a resort.
It is a complete experience, unhurried, personal, and grounded in time spent together.
