Into each life…

Eagle Pointe Lodge sits in a temperate rainforest. That makes for stunning scenery and a distinct climate. Summer can be moist and temperatures range from about 7 C to 18 C, so pack warm clothes. We’ll supply the rain gear.

Packing Your Luggage

Due to limited space, we ask that you use soft-sided bags which do not exceed 30 lbs. per person.

WHAT TO BRING: Each guest will be suited with premium rain gear and rubber boots for use while on the water. As weather conditions vary throughout the day, we suggest you dress in layers. Here are some suggestions for what to pack:

  • a jacket
  • long sleeve shirts or sweatshirts with hood
  • long underwear or sweatpants
  • thick warm socks
  • toque, hat and gloves
  • bathing suit
  • sunglasses and sunscreen
  • personal toiletries

Dress is casual at the lodge and at dinner, so be sure to bring what you are comfortable wearing.

Due to quick changeovers between groups, there may be times when there will be no access to rooms upon arrival. It is recommended that you arrive in clothing that you can go straight out fishing in.

Gift Shop

At Eagle Pointe Lodge, we carry a selection of quality clothing such as down jackets, fleece sweaters, vests, shirts, hoodies, socks, caps, toques, stuffies, and cups for purchase.

Internet & Communications

We have excellent Wi-Fi coverage, however, there is no cell service. Please be sure to turn on Wi-Fi calling prior to arrival at the lodge. We also have a landline and a computer for guest use.

Fishing Gear, Licenses & Equipment

Each boat is equipped with top-quality rods, reels, tackle, and bait. We will prepare and have your fishing licenses ready for you at the lodge.

Processing Your Fish

Your fish is portioned, vacuum packed, and flash frozen at the lodge, ready to take with you when you leave. If you prefer some of your catch to be processed (canned, smoked, etc.), arrangements can be made to send it to St. Jean’s Cannery based in Nanaimo, BC, which will be shipped directly to your home for an additional cost.

We pride ourselves on the highly personalized service you receive at Eagle Pointe Lodge, thanks to our dedicated team. A gratuity is a valued gesture that shows your appreciation for their genuine efforts to make your trip here truly special.
